One of the less flamboyant signs. This one attached to a box that you can enter and sit down in. There is a small screen, which isn’t on. It all looks rather vandalised.

More and more bicentenary decorations are appearing. The trains on the Mexico City metro are often draped in Mexico City related art, and the celebration stuff has finally taken hold of one. I hope to get some better photos later.

In Alameda park, you’ll usually see at least two mounted, ornately uniformed police officers. Put there especially for the tourists.
